I bought this for some drum heads; every square inch of this hide was usable. Very nice; got lots of projects out of it; will definitely order from them again.

The delivery was on time, and none of the 3 peices i ordered had any holes. It's see-through in some places but thats normal for rawhide this thin. I used some of the same stuff to bind together a wooden scabbard for a large knife a couple years ago and it's still sturdy.

Obviously hides vary greatly between individual animals. This is the second goat I've bought from this seller. The first was absolutely perfect....I make parchment for calligraphy and it processed beautifully..no holes or major flaws and fairly even skin tone and uniform thickness. The second skin is pretty bad. It is uneven in thickness, blemished and has several holes. I will try and turn this into parchment, but I not seeing a successful outcome. Any way, quality seems to be random, so be aware of this when you buy. First skin 5 star. Second skin 1. I split the difference for an overall 3.
